A Dean's Musings: June 2010

Welcome

Your first year at a college or university marks the beginning of an intellectual and spiritual quest that will last a lifetime. It is, in many respects, a contemplative journey that requires the development of basic academic proficiencies. It also asks that you begin to discern your passions and deepen your sense of curiosity and wonder. Those of us who will serve as your advisors, mentors, and course instructors this year will accompany you on this journey. We will teach, in part, by revealing what we have experienced and learned along the way.
